I made this for a family barbecue today and everyone was raving about it!!! It was so delicious, Laura, I will definitely be making this one again and again. And sorry I didn't do it justice--it was really ugly (and runny b/c I served it 3 hrs after taking it out of the oven)....but everyone still loved the taste!

there's absolutely nothing wrong with pie for breakfast. it's probably more healthy than most bowls of cereal, and far more delicious.

It took me long enough, but now I'm one of your followers here too! I don't hardly ever check on the blogs I follow, though--I'm mostly a myspace girl. BTW, I love that second shot of the pie where it's head on--and I love how the blueberries are nearly whole--it looks so fresh! I can not wait to make this!

First I want to say thank you for complimenting my photo. Coming from the cooking photographer it means a lot. Second, I want to mention that this pie looks just like the pie at the orchard which I was ready to dig my face in! I have never made a pie other than pumpkin, but your recipes are always great so I will put this one my list.

Pie for breakfast has always been a staple at our house. One time my daughter was at a sleep over and when asked if she wanted cereal for breakfast, she replied "what kinda pie do you have?" It got a chuckle out of the mom. Of course, my d. then thought breakfast at home WAS special...the recipe and pic look oh so yummy... thanks, I'll be trying this one!
